10/6/01 Saturday

Arrived in Loreto. Rained just as we began the Mexican buffet dinner.  Went to bed

10/07/01 Sunday 

Woke at 6. Walked w/Shirley, Nancy, & Tom. Attacked by mosquitoes. Ate buffet breakfast, took a Spanish lesson, took a nap, swam, lay in the sun. Skipped Italian dinner and went to bed

10/8/01 Monday

Woke at 6. Walked, Went on a 30 minute bicycle ride, swam, had my picture taken in front of the c/o beach sign with Shirley, emailed Pamela, went to Loreto in a taxi to shop and have a lobster dinner. Bought a t-shirt for myself

10/9 Tuesday. 

Woke at 6:00. Walked, Ate breakfast, Played tennis, swam, ate garlic yellow tail at Mexican restaurant, watched 9:30 perfect couple show.

10/10 Wednesday.

Woke at 6:00, when Tom came to get us to walk, our neighbor who we have heard but have never seen came to our door yelling that he has been here for four days and that we have Woken him up every day. We walked to billboard to take picture, ate breakfast, kayaked, collected shells, went shopping for trinkets I bought a fishplate for myself and anklets for Joleen & Pam.  Tom offered to go fishing with Shirley & Jim on Thursday. Tom and Jim played volleyball.  Tried a drink called domiani that comes in a naked woman decanter.  Cute decanter but liquor tastes like cough syrup.  Buffet dinner tonight-I skipped eating since I had eaten lots at poolside cafe. Lyon King was the 9:00 show... excellent

10/11 Thursday

Shirley Jim and Tom left at 6 to go fishing. I rested until 8. Nancy and I met Elaine at buffet. Nancy and I went to stretch class.  Met the fishermen when they arrived. One fish caught by Shirley. Stayed at pool all day. Outdoor Mexican buffet followed by folklore show. To bed. 

10/12 Friday.

6:30 walk, orange juice, 8:00 breakfast, 9:00 tennis game, 10:30 water aerobics, swimming and poolside remainder of day continuing book the final judgment. Watched CNN - anthrax delivered in letters to NBCstudios in NY& to the NYTimes. Jim & Shirley participated in iron man pool/kayak competition.  Shirley continued working on her tan while Nancy & I shopped-Kalua for Nancy's brother, for me, swimsuit cover, and red fish ceramic.  Ate at Mexican buffet, played Mexican bingo next to Elaine and Tom, watched Latin show, & checked out disco which was really nice.

10/13 Saturday.

Shirley & I Woke at 5:30 and began packing to go home 6:00 we took a walk & took pictures. 6:30ish Jim & Nancy came to get us to go to the buffet.
